This procedure is similar to the Query Wizard. However it adds some additional functionality. You can search for a text string in all fields including memo fields. For example you could look for the text "Red" and the program would locate every record with the word red in any field.
You have the option to ignore case. If you elect to ignore case "Red" and "RED" are the same.
You have the option of starting the search from the beginning of the file or from the currently highlighted record.
You have the option to display the data found or tag the record that contains the data.
You can also perform conditional searches by using query by example. See below.
After you enter a query, you can save and recall using the retrieve button.
